What Are Maltipoos Anyway?
Maltipoos are a cute mix of a Maltese and a Poodle, and they look like little teddy bears.
When I first saw Daisy, she was so small I could hold her in one hand, she stole my heart right away!
They’re super loving and fun, making them awesome pals for kids or anyone who loves a cuddle.

First Two Months: Tiny Babies!
When Maltipoos are born, they’re super little, just 1 to 2 pounds, and their eyes stay shut tight.
Daisy relied on her mom’s milk back then, and by a month, she started peeking around and wobbling.
At 6 weeks, she got playful—chewing toys and chasing her tail was her big adventure!
Three to Four Months: Growing Fast!
By 3 months, Daisy shot up to about 3 pounds, and she was zooming all over the place.
This is when she started learning stuff like “sit” and where to potty, it was so cute watching her try.
Her little teeth came in too, so we gave her chew toys to keep her busy.
Five to Six Months: Looking More Grown-Up
Around 5 months, Daisy hit 5 pounds and started looking like a mini version of herself.
She loved running after balls and figuring out new games, she was full of energy!
We kept an eye on her chewing because those teeth were still growing in strong.

Seven to Nine Months: Almost There!
At 7 months, Daisy slowed down a bit, weighing around 7 to 11 pounds, she was getting close to her big size.
Her goofy personality really showed; she’d bark at shadows just to test us!
We swapped her puppy food for adult stuff around 9 months, and she loved the new taste.
Ten to Twelve Months: All Grown Up!
By her first birthday, Daisy was 10 pounds and about 11 inches tall, pretty much done growing!
She still loved playtime, but she’d chill out more, curling up next to me on the couch.
Her fluffy coat filled out, and she looked like the perfect little Maltipoo pal.
What Makes Them Grow Different?
Every Maltipoo grows their own way, and Daisy’s size came from her Poodle mom being a Toy.
Good food helped her get strong, cheap stuff made her tummy upset once, so we switched fast.
Playing outside kept her healthy too; lazy days made her a bit chubby!

When Do They Stop Getting Bigger?
Most Maltipoos, like Daisy, stop growing between 9 and 12 months—pretty quick, right?
After that, she just got a little rounder until we figured out the perfect food amount.
Now at 2 years, she’s steady at 10 pounds, happy as can be!
How I Helped Daisy Grow Happy
Feeding Daisy yummy puppy food was a must, she gobbled it up and grew so fast.
We took her for little walks every day; she’d chase leaves like they were treasures!
Lots of hugs and play made her wag her tail nonstop—she’s my little sunshine.
Why Watching Growth Matters
Seeing Daisy grow taught me how to care for her at every step, she needed different things as a baby versus now.
It’s fun guessing how big she’d get, and keeping her healthy made her the best buddy.
Your Maltipoo’s journey will be special too—just watch, love, and enjoy every minute!
